Multiplying Disciples

Description

A healthy church equips people to share their faith, and people come to faith through the ministries (relationships? efforts?) of the church. The church includes sermons, classes, and studies that provide tools for evangelism in multiple contexts. A healthy church has also participated in forming a missional community, campus or church plant in the last 5 years. This includes adaptation of church ministries to an outside context (for example: starting a Bible study in a local coffee shop, holding ALPHA at the YMCA, providing worship services at a local retirement home, etc.).

Considerations Regarding Your Score

• What curriculums have you used to equip people to evangelize?
• How have you contextualized your methods of evangelism to be successful in reaching those different from your congregation?
• How many people have come to faith through the relationships, ministries, and missions of the church in the last 5 years?
• How might we multiply as a congregation? Through launching a missional community? Or a church plant? Or an additional campus?
