Description

Healthy churches have healthy leaders. It is simple as that. Healthy leaders are competent, have a deep transformative relationship with Christ, and are agile and able to lead change. They also practice Sabbath and take regular breaks to rest and renew. Healthy churches have an active and effective leadership pipeline. They encourage and empower others to develop their leadership skills and gifts. In addition, healthy churches have healthy evaluation processes that include the congregation’s input. They have healthy systems, structures and practices that provide both accountability for leaders while also creating a safe space for compassionate candor between leaders and the people.
